When we realized we needed a new roof, we went to the Internet to research roofing materials. We found Omega Roof on line and filled out an email form requesting a roofing report. The next day Chris answered our email and offered to come and show us the roofing materials. Chris came out the next day and brought several different types of roofing material. He was very helpful explaining the advantages of the materials and helped us choose the one that would look best on our house. We chose our materials that day and ordered them. The material came quickly and the roofers were able to get started right away. It was amazing to watch the progress. We love our new roof and it looks very nice on our house. Our neighbors decided to get a new roof from Omega also. We both had old wood shakes. We will continue to recommend Omega Roof to our friends and family.
We actually found Omega Roof on the Internet. We knew we wanted to go metal on our historical winery so we started searching for websites with photos of metal roofing material that we liked. Jack found Chris and spoke with him about our project and what we were trying to do and keeping the historical aspect while being efficient and beautiful and not having to replace the roof again as it is a very tall steep roof. Chris was wonderful and very excited about our project and came to the winery to see it and talk to us about what our options were. We had actually settled on using a standing seem roof. It was not what we wanted but it was the least problematic for our roof situation, It is steep, there is a belly on the east side due to the age of the building, and we have wind so we needed something that was going to hold up over the years that we could actually fit into our budget. What we really wanted was copper and Jack had seen the shingles but knew it would never fit into our budget. Chris came to the house and looked at our winery and said you know what would look great on this roof, copper shingles, and I have another customer that is removing a copper shingle roof and I think we can make it work for you. He showed us pictures and got a sample and he made it work for us. I could not believe Jack was getting exactly what he wanted and we could fit it into our budget. It was a miracle. Chris had everything we needed, he answered all of our questions and helped us get the roofer lined up. It was great. After having a corrugated roof on the winery for the last 80 years it was in really bad shape. Several panels were lifted and the rain and wind were gaining access to the underlying roof materials. It was very rusty and noisy and not very pretty to look at. The copper shingles are beautiful. They are not all the same color but a variety of shades of aged copper now. It has finished the look of the winery with the other materials that were used. The stone and wood are complimented by the beauty of the copper.
I would highly recommend Chris and Omega. He was professional but even more he was helpful and worked to make it work for us and get us exactly what we wanted. He is now part of our winery family and we look forward to working with him again when we do our home. We also look forward to his coming to all our winery events. He was here to help us bottle our 2007 wine and I look forward to opening some of those bottles over the next twenty years and looking at our beautiful roof and having all of our construction finished and the time to enjoy all our friends and family in our beautiful historic winery.

When we needed to replace our wood shakes, we wanted to find something that would look similar but last longer and perform better. After talking to Chris, we knew a metal roof would be perfect. And so far, it's been great. We don't worry about our big wind storms blowing bits of the roof all over the yard and actually, our home even feels tighter and more secure now. It's also very quiet during rainstorms. The new roof is the perfect compliment to our home. We would definitely recommend Chris and Omega Roof to anyone ready to re-roof for the last time.
The new roof enhances the appearance of our home, and we especially like how it looks and its longevity. Time will tell if the extra money we spent on the new roof is worth it, but I think it will be. Overall, it was a good decision for us. The roof is very attractive (as far as roofs go). Our son, who has a general contractor's license in California, said the crew you recommended did an excellent job of installation with flashing and alignment. And as picky as he is, that's a big compliment!
The new roof looks like a new shake roof, which is what I wanted. Snow seems to melt faster and does not absorb or add weight. It was a good experience overall.

The new roof looks so good, a child in our neighborhood even commented on how pretty it is. I love the appearance, it's not like the slick, ridged metal roofs I've seen around town. When it holds up like the warranty says and keeps our home from having leaks, then it will be totally worth [the extra money].
The whole job start to finish was an incredible experience for us. Not sure what to expect because we have never replaced a roof before, we braced for days of mess, a half torn-apart house, etc.... SURPRISE! The whole job was completed quickly, professionally and cleanly; the crew you recommended went out of their way to ensure the job was perfect (and I'm very comfortable with the word perfect). Vince, the foreman, even fabricated a mini gutter for over the front door where we never had a gutter before we were told it couldn't be done (thanks, Vince)! I was curious how everything was so clean after the first day, then I got home yesterday and the crew was in full swing. Half the crew started cleaning up and what a great job. Vince even ran a magnet around the house to make sure all the nails were picked up! WOW! Even the delivery driver called to make sure he dropped off the supplies in a spot that was convenient for me. Again, WOW! We are so pleased, we are telling everyone we know to give you a call when they are in the market for a roof. To say we are thrilled is an understatement; our house looks great, the price was reasonable, the workmanship and pride in work obvious.
We are telling everyone we know that if you think you can't afford a top rate metal roof, you are mistaken and you should check it out. Again, thank you Chris for a company that truly stands behind what they do.
Our old composition shingle roof was about 17-18 years old. It had pieces missing and flying off. I had an Omega ad from a few years back and I contacted Chris after checking out the website. I would call it a very positive experience so far. Everything's up there and in place, doing great. We've had a few neighbors make some positive comments as well.

As you may recall, I was originally interested in using composition, but was so impressed with the metal tile-look that I decided to use it, instead of the comp. We just had the house reappraised for refinance and the appraisal came in quite a bit higher than it had just a year and a half earlier. I think a good portion of it was attributed to the roof, to the high quality of the roof, the fact that, a good roof is a big selling point, especially when people are buying a house that's thirty years old. I just love it, it's the perfect roof for our house. It's got sharp, clean lines. It's going to look good forever, I knew it was going to look wonderful on the house, and the fact, I have to admit, that it's one hundred percent fire-proof.
When you've got something that you've put a lot of time and effort and money into and you want to keep it for a long time and you want that extra sharp look for your home, then you should consider spending the extra money for the Omega Roof.
I've had people stop by and look at my roof and ask 'Where did you get the roof, who did you get it from?' They balked a little bit on the cost but I told them that in the long run, the cost is equal to one of these. If you have to come back out and strip it again on one side or whatever and go back into your maintenance program, which I don't have to ever do, you're spending more money. Once I'm done painting my trim on my house, I don't ever have to go on the roof again.
We previously had a terracotta Spanish tile roof on the house. I'm a zero-maintenance kind of guy and every spring I saw that I was going to have to pull down broken tiles and replace them. We were already starting to see some water leak, wind breakage problems as a result of being in the house for one winter. I was more concerned about wind noise up here and the inevitable rattling that might occur as the different pieces of metal have the movement that's sure to happen. Having just survived our first winter with the new roof, we heard no weather related noise as a result of the roof at all.
The total cost of an investment like a roof on a dwelling is not simply the acquisition cost, it's the maintenance cost and on-going repair cost. And once you factor all of those things into the equation, we believe that the payback on the roof that we acquired from Omega was probably going to be three to five years, as compared to the cost we were incurring every year replacing the Spanish Tile.

Our entire experience with Omega Roof was fantastic, as is your product. I hated to replace our beautiful shake with comp shingle and to discover your metal shake that could go right over our existing shake was very exciting.
